About our Visit
In July 2026, we had the privilege of spending time with the wonderful children of New Horizon Special School in Accra, Ghana. The experience reminded us of something we believe deeply at Goodwave Foundation: every child deserves to be seen, valued, loved, and given the opportunity to flourish.
Our visit was filled with moments that were simple but meaningful. The smiles, laughter, excitement, and warmth we experienced reminded us that impact is not always measured in numbers. Sometimes, it is found in a smile, a shared moment, or the feeling of knowing that someone cares.
For us, supporting the children of New Horizon Special School was about more than a visit. It was about creating a moment of connection and reminding every child that they matter.
Children with disabilities deserve the same opportunities to learn, grow, dream, and participate fully in their communities. Creating an inclusive society begins with recognizing the value and potential in every child and ensuring that they have the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
Our time at New Horizon reminded us that inclusion is not simply about making space for people. It is about creating communities where everyone feels welcomed, respected, celebrated, and empowered to be part of the whole.
We are grateful to the children, teachers, caregivers, and everyone at New Horizon Special School for welcoming us and allowing us to share in these special moments.
Our impact is not measured by the donations, but rather, the smile and hope we saw in the faces of these young ones. They remind us why we do this work and why building a more compassionate and inclusive world matters.
At Goodwave Foundation, we believe change begins with how we see one another. When we choose compassion, create opportunities, and make room for every person to flourish, we create communities that are stronger for everyone.
One child at a time. One opportunity at a time. One wave of change at a time.
